1652 G2 Standard Rear Differential Rebuild Kit Please note, application alone is not accurate enough, please measure your parts before ordering! There are a few options for rebuild kits, please measure your parts before ordering!! OEM Rear Differential Gear set 10/36 Ring and Pinion gear set. The gears are straight cut as pictured. Paired with high quality aftermarket ball bearings along with double lip axle seals. If your differential has tapered roller bearings, this will not fit. This kit should be installed by an experienced technician. Shims are included as the gears will need to be set up in your cases. Note: the O rings are not included, this is a cost savings measure as they are generally reusable. This kit will only fit six mounting hole differentials. Measure your outer diameter of the pinion seal, it should measure 2 3/4" (70mm) Measure your outer diameter of your axle seals! They should measure close to 2 1/16″ (52mm) To further verify fitment you can measure your pinion pilot shaft, this should be 5/8″ (16mm) Please take the time to measure your parts before buying this will save time and restocking fees. 2012-2018 G2 ATV Rear Differential Swap Kit Kit includes: Rear Differential, Rear driveshaft, Bolt and Washer. This kit includes a rear differential with: Tapered roller bearings Three bearings on the pinion gear 6 inch diameter ring gear Your choice of gear style, spiral bevel or straight cut. Both have the same 3.60 ratio as your current differential. Spiral Bevel Gears are sourced from the 2013-18 800 850 and 1000 XMR differentials. Current part number 705502546 Old part numbers: 705502178 & 705502090 Straight Cut gears are sourced from the 2019+ 650+ differentials. Current part number 705502808 The driveshaft included is an OEM shaft with the correct end yokes for your application. The differential end yoke will not use a wear ring, this has been done away with by BRP the yoke is what the pinion seal touches now. You will need to fill the differential with 250ml (8.4oz) of 75W-140 gear oil and transfer over your fill plug and washer. The torque spec on the driveshaft retaining bolt is 55ftlbs with thread locker applied. Some minor trimming on the brackets that surround the differential is required. These differentials have the provision for an ABS sensor, this is standard on euro models, for mud riders state side, you can fill this hole with RTV or leave it open. If you are running the silver protector ring on your axle, you will need to push the ring outward slightly. We choose to remove these dust covers as they tend to trap debris when run under water.

Measure your outer diameter of your axle seals!
They should measure close to 1 3/4" (47mm)
To further verify fitment you can measure your pinion pilot shaft, this should be 9/16? (14mm)

High quality Timken oil seal. Replace a leaking front output seal on your canam. This is the seal that seals the engine through shaft coming out of the front of your Vtwin engine below the front exhaust header. To be 100% sure on fitment, measure your outer diameter on your seal, it should read 47mm This seal has a 25mm inner diameter 47mm outer diamter and is 7mm thick. New OEM Differential Pinion Seal. Please check your wear ring, if that is grooved it is time to replace. Very easy to miss that and blame a new seal on a bad wear ring. NEW OEM Tool 529036302 This removes the large housing nut on G2 XMR Rear Differentials Also works on 2019 ATV Rear differential housing nuts. please note there may be some casting flare on your housing nut you may have to file to get the tool to fit, as it is a very tight fit.
