    Late G1 Early G2 Standard Rear Differential Rebuild Kit

    There are a few options for rebuild kits, please measure your parts before ordering!!

    OEM Rear Differential Gear set 10/36 Ring and Pinion gear set. The gears are straight cut as pictured.

    Paired with high quality aftermarket bearings along with double lip axle seals.

    This kit should be installed by an experienced technician. Ring gear shims are included as the gears will need to be set up in your cases, the pinion shims should remain unchanged

    Note: the O rings are not included, this is a cost savings measure as they are generally reusable.

    There are a few options for kits, please verify your differential uses this style of gears before ordering! This will only fit six mounting hole differentials.

    Open up the differential! Check for two bearings total (one on each side) on the ring gear. If you only have two proceed to the next measurement.

    Measure your outer diameter of your axle seals!

    They should measure close to 1 3/4" (47mm)

    To further verify fitment you can measure your pinion pilot shaft, this should be 9/16? (14mm)

    The last pictures show this very clearly. Please take the time to measure your parts before buying this will save time and restocking fees.

    This is an OEM Canam part used in many Generation 2 atvs.

    It does not have the bracket for the rear brake caliper on it.

    This is an updated version with much more substantial webbing for improved support.

  • This is the XMR 1000 rear differential found in 2013-2018 800R 850 1000/1000R XMR.

    It will fit g2 bikes (500/650/800/850/1000) if you are upgrading you will need to shorten your shaft 1.75? or buy a kit from us, please see our other listings.

    This differential has automotive style cut gears, tapered roller bearings, along with an overall larger gear size. There are a total of three bearings on the pinion gear giving it much more support over the standard rear differentials, this requires a shorter driveshaft, as mentioned earlier if you are swapping this in place of a standard differential.

    Pinion spline count 20, standard differentials use 18 spline pinion shafts, that are smaller in diameter. If you are upgrading you will need a 20 spline end yoke to match.

    In every way this is a beefier differential.

    To bolt your driveshaft on this differential you will need a M10x1.25 16mm long bolt (not included)

  • This is the 2019+ rear differential found in Renegades and Outlanders 650 and larger This has the 6 inch (155mm) ring gear with straight cut teeth as shown. It will fit g2 bikes (500/650/800/1000) if you are upgrading you will need to shorten your shaft 1.75 inches or buy a kit from us, please see our other listings. (G1 bikes will require further modifications to work).   • 2012-2018 G2 ATV Rear Differential Swap Kit Kit includes: Rear Differential, Rear driveshaft, Bolt and Washer. This kit includes a rear differential with: Tapered roller bearings Three bearings on the pinion gear 6 inch diameter ring gear Your choice of gear style, spiral bevel or straight cut. Both have the same 3.60 ratio as your current differential. Spiral Bevel Gears are sourced from the 2013-18 800 850 and 1000 XMR differentials. Current part number 705502546 Old part numbers: 705502178 & 705502090 Straight Cut gears are sourced from the 2019+ 650+ differentials. Current part number 705502808 The driveshaft included is an OEM shaft with the correct end yokes for your application. The differential end yoke will not use a wear ring, this has been done away with by BRP the yoke is what the pinion seal touches now. You will need to fill the differential with 250ml (8.4oz) of 75W-140 gear oil and transfer over your fill plug and washer. The torque spec on the driveshaft retaining bolt is 55ftlbs with thread locker applied. Some minor trimming on the brackets that surround the differential is required. These differentials have the provision for an ABS sensor, this is standard on euro models, for mud riders state side, you can fill this hole with RTV or leave it open. If you are running the silver protector ring on your axle, you will need to push the ring outward slightly. We choose to remove these dust covers as they tend to trap debris when run under water.

    Brand New Genuine OEM front differential This is the visco 4lok model which has the electronic locking mechanism Part number 705403049 replaces 705402700 This is found in the 2021+ G2 XMR, XTP and XXC models. You will need to transfer over your fill plug after filling this with gear oil.

The differential has all forged Carburized (case hardened) alloy gears, and high end bearings inside billet cases. These gears are set up to very specific tolerances, ready for years of abuse. These are sold with a six month warranty on the gears, lifetime on the cases. These gears require a break in period of 75-100 miles This is the aftermarket upgraded  XMR 1000 rear differential found in 2013-18 1000/1000R XMR. You will have to clearance your surrounding brackets to install as this is a beefier case. The drain plug access hole in your frame may have to be enlarged also. It is also used in the G2 800 XMR & 850 XMR. It will fit g2 bikes (500/650/800/1000) if you are upgrading you will need to shorten your shaft 1.75" or by purchasing a conversion shaft, we can help with application, please ask! (G1 bikes will require further modifications to work).
