This is the XMR 1000 rear differential found in 2013-2018 800R 850 1000/1000R XMR.
It will fit g2 bikes (500/650/800/850/1000) if you are upgrading you will need to shorten your shaft 1.75? or buy a kit from us, please see our other listings.
This differential has automotive style cut gears, tapered roller bearings, along with an overall larger gear size. There are a total of three bearings on the pinion gear giving it much more support over the standard rear differentials, this requires a shorter driveshaft, as mentioned earlier if you are swapping this in place of a standard differential.
Pinion spline count 20, standard differentials use 18 spline pinion shafts, that are smaller in diameter. If you are upgrading you will need a 20 spline end yoke to match.
In every way this is a beefier differential.
To bolt your driveshaft on this differential you will need a M10x1.25 16mm long bolt (not included)

New Oem Canam Pinion nut, this is spun on to the pinion gear to retain the bearings on the pinion gear of xmr differentials on ATV XMR's G2 800/850/1000/1000R This is not needed on 570 or 650 XMR models The threads are M28x1.25 Right Hand the outer diameter is 51mm Please check that this is the correct nut for your application Part number 705501550
NEW OEM Tool 529036302 This removes the large housing nut on G2 XMR Rear Differentials Also works on 2019 ATV Rear differential housing nuts. please note there may be some casting flare on your housing nut you may have to file to get the tool to fit, as it is a very tight fit.

Brand New Genuine OEM front differential This is the visco 4lok model which has the electronic locking mechanism Part number 705403049 replaces 705402700 This is found in the 2021+ G2 XMR, XTP and XXC models. You will need to transfer over your fill plug after filling this with gear oil. 
New OEM Differential Pinion Seal. Please check your wear ring, if that is grooved it is time to replace. Very easy to miss that and blame a new seal on a bad wear ring. 1652 G2 Standard Rear Differential Rebuild Kit Please note, application alone is not accurate enough, please measure your parts before ordering! There are a few options for rebuild kits, please measure your parts before ordering!! OEM Rear Differential Gear set 10/36 Ring and Pinion gear set. The gears are straight cut as pictured. Paired with high quality aftermarket ball bearings along with double lip axle seals. If your differential has tapered roller bearings, this will not fit. This kit should be installed by an experienced technician. Shims are included as the gears will need to be set up in your cases. Note: the O rings are not included, this is a cost savings measure as they are generally reusable. This kit will only fit six mounting hole differentials. Measure your outer diameter of the pinion seal, it should measure 2 3/4" (70mm) Measure your outer diameter of your axle seals! They should measure close to 2 1/16″ (52mm) To further verify fitment you can measure your pinion pilot shaft, this should be 5/8″ (16mm) Please take the time to measure your parts before buying this will save time and restocking fees. It does not have the bracket for the rear brake caliper on it.
This is an updated version with much more substantial webbing for improved support.
